Ingredients
- 1 part sugar
- 1 part water
- 1 part stacked fresh basil
- 1 part lemon juice
Preparation
- Bring water to a boil with basil and sugar, simmer for >6 minutes and filter to make simple syrup.
- Let syrup cool off and add lemon juice (should be about equal proportions).
- Keeps in fridge for at least a week.
Serving
- Mix 2 parts lemonade with 1 part cold (carbonated) water, serve over ice.
