Ingredients

  • 1 can white beans
  • 1 small can tomato puree
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cane syrup
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp pimento
  • 150g fat bacon
  • butter

Process

  • Preheat oven.
  • Fry the bacon until crunchy.
  • Mix tomato pure, sugar, syrup, vinegar, mustard and pimento.
  • Add half the liquid of the beans to sauce.
  • Butter up oven tray, add beans and cover with sauce.
  • Put in oven for 15 minutes, then remove and add bacon.
