Ingredients
- 1 can white beans
- 1 small can tomato puree
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cane syrup
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp pimento
- 150g fat bacon
- butter
Process
- Preheat oven.
- Fry the bacon until crunchy.
- Mix tomato pure, sugar, syrup, vinegar, mustard and pimento.
- Add half the liquid of the beans to sauce.
- Butter up oven tray, add beans and cover with sauce.
- Put in oven for 15 minutes, then remove and add bacon.
